Watchlist and pinned pages
Keeping a watchlist with tags beside every ticker page, switching tickers from it, and pinning the pages you use most.
Your watchlist sits in the rail on the right of every ticker page. Each row shows the ticker, its last price (the latest trade in any session), and its change since the last regular close, in dollars and percent. Pro's prices update as trades print; Free's refresh every minute.
Using it
- Open or fold it with the watchlist button at the far right of the top bar. It's open by default on wide screens. Under 1100 pixels it opens as a sheet from the right.
- Add a ticker with the box at the top of the list, which searches symbols and company names, or with the star after the ticker search in the top bar.
- Switch tickers by pressing a row. You stay on the same page: from SPX's option chain, a row opens NVDA's option chain.
- Remove a ticker or tag it with the tools that show when you point at a row.
- Order it your own way (drag a row, or Alt+↑↓), A–Z, or by change %. Your order is kept.
Being on your watchlist doesn't change how a ticker's levels are computed. They load when you open the ticker, like any other.
Tags
Tags group tickers: "Earnings this week", "Wheel", "Semis". A ticker can carry several, shown as small dots in its row. Choose a tag above the list to show only its tickers.
Create, rename, recolour, and delete tags from the star's menu ("Manage watchlist tags") or Edit tags… in the list's menu. Tag colours come from a set of five that are never green, red, or amber, which the app keeps for gamma and price. An account keeps up to 50 tags.
Where else it's used
Brief me at the top of the list asks Athena for a brief on it: levels, what changed since the close, earnings ahead, and watchers near firing, for the first eight tickers. Athena can also read your watchlist ("How is my watchlist positioned?") and add or remove tickers when you ask. Your AI app can too, once connected. The earnings calendar can show only your watchlist's reports.
Pinned pages
Point at a page in the pages rail and press its star to pin it. Pinned pages sit in a Pinned group near the top of the rail, under Overview and Ask Athena, in your order (drag, or Alt+↑↓), for whatever ticker is open. Overview, Ask Athena, and Watchers keep their own places, so they have no star. On a narrow screen the Pages menu lists your pinned pages in the same place and ends with "Pin" or "Unpin" for the page you're on. Pins are saved to your account.
Limits
Free keeps 25 tickers and Pro keeps 200. A list kept from Pro after moving to Free stays whole, and you can add again once it's under 25. Without an account there's no watchlist; sign in to keep one.
